    By Gina Chen (Taiwan) 文:陈雅琪(台湾)  A Banquet to Cherish 疫中更惜福,温馨尾牙宴 It was truly a blessing that Popular Taiwan staff could gather for their annual dinner during the pandemic. 疫情下仍能围坐吃饭是福气,台湾大众同仁分享2020年的年终晚宴点滴。 Located in the vicinity of Taipei’s Longshan Temple, Menga Atami Seafood Restaurant was the location of Popular Taiwan’s annual year-end dinner in 2020. It felt different this time round, as everyone was wearing a mask to do their part during the pandemic. I have always enjoyed observing the interactions among the staff before the food is served, as it is then that I get to see the lively side of my colleagues, a side that I do not get to see during work. Watching them chatting and laughing while sharing their experiences in life had allowed me to get to know everyone better. The feast was a different story, as it was a colourful display of fresh and delicious cuisine. Among the dishes was the garlic clam soup, which was not only delicious, but boasted the immunity-enhancing benefits of garlic. Everyone was mindful of the various measures to keep the nasty coronavirus at bay by using serving chopsticks and reducing the chatter when we were dining.
