新添三门市 Popular Malaysia continues to serve local communities and promote reading through their three latest outlets across Malaysia. 马来西亚大众开设三家新门市，继续服务当地社区，推广阅读风气。 Since opening our first outlet in Malaysia in 1984, POPULAR has expanded our presence to nearly 80 stores nationwide today. Despite the challenging business environment caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in recent years, POPULAR is determined to continue expanding our footprint to reach more customers in Malaysia, setting up its latest outlets in three of the country’s premier shopping malls – Vivacity Megamall in Sarawak’s Kuching, AEON Mall Alpha Angle in Wangsa Maju in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur, and Sunway Carnival Mall in Penang. Popular Malaysia organised a series of grand opening promotions to express our gratitude to local communities for their continued support with special deals and fun activities for families. Vivacity Megamall, Kuching, Sarawak Located 10 minutes from the heart of Kuching, the capital city of the Malaysian state of Sarawak, Vivacity Megamall is the largest premium shopping mall in the state. Its five floors of retail space are home to many international and local brands, amongst which are some of the best culinary delights that the city has to offer. In addition, the Jazz Suites @ Vivacity, comprised of 672 units of condominiums and suites, will bring at least another 2,000 residents to the mall. “The Mall of Kuching” – as Vivacity Megamall is known locally – would not be complete without a good bookstore. Rounding up the comprehensive shopping experience here, POPULAR opened our seventh outlet in the Land of the Hornbills on 1 April 2022. Standing at a spacious 9,535 square feet, POPULAR’s Vivacity Megamall outlet is our first new store to open since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020. To celebrate the new store’s opening, Popular Malaysia held a Grand Opening Promotion from 1 - 17 July 2022, rewarding shoppers with a 20% discount when they purchased two books together.
