POP@Central, POPULAR’s flagship store in Singapore, has embarked on its latest reinvention to continue serving the needs of our customers.

Established in Singapore in 1924, POPULAR has long been well-known among the local households for its
outlets’ vibrant red and white logo and its offering of the most comprehensive range of books in both English and Chinese. To further elevate its standing as the leading book retailer in Singapore, POPULAR opened a flagship retail outlet at Bras Basah Complex in 1980 and branded it “POP@ Central” to tap on its popularity with the booming population of Generation X primary and secondary school students.
Located within Bras Basah Complex, the 34,762 square feet of total retail space in POPULAR’s flagship store is divided into four storeys, with each level sporting a different theme. POP@Central firmly established POPULAR’s foothold not only as the leading bilingual book retailer in Singapore, but also the largest fully air-conditioned bookstore in the region!
